The French were stupid enough to share thier tech knowledge with anyone that would be 'thier friend'...the French did not have the expertise for weapons when they shared the reactor secrets (with anyone who would be 'thier friend) starting in the late 50's.

Iraq was not even in the picture when Israeli/American had anything on the drawing board. France did not have any nuclear weapon capability with-out help from Israeli scientists (educated in the US with US subsidized programs BTW).

The French 'sold-out' to ANYONE they thought would help them...selling-out to Israel included a 'pound of flesh' that they (once again) couldn't look in the eye, and the French turned 'Pussy'---as they always have, and denied everything, then moved on to Iran.
