Online shopping experience and product quality

I think it is better to build a small collection of reliable products than to buy random cheap things. Good stitching usually means the item will not fall apart after one or two washes. When every picture has different colors or extreme filters, it is usually a bad sign.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

Trendy pieces are fun, but I only buy them when the price is reasonable. A good store usually answers questions quickly and does not hide behind canned messages. I also check if the lenses have any blue light filter or anti-reflection coating. From my experience, communication with the store can tell you a lot. Nose pads that are too hard leave marks and feel uncomfortable on the skin. Smaller shops can be surprisingly friendly if they care about repeat customers. Forums, blogs and communities create a kind of collective memory for shoppers.
Maybe this is useful for someone.
